Amir Akhlaghi has worked in control, protection and safety-related applications for over 10 years. As a Functional Safety Consultant, he conducts and facilitates, HAZOP, Safety Integrity Level (SIL) determination, HAZAN (LOPA and FTA) studies in the UK and Middle East. Amir has valuable experience in detailed consequence analysis, HIPS studies and has previous experience with Saudi Aramco projects including North and South Ghawar fields, Aindar Fields and Hasbah & Arabiyah Fields, North Safaniyah, Marjan, Hasbah II and Abu Safah.
Mohammed Bhaimia is a Technis and TÜV certified Functional Safety and Reliability consultant, with a strong background in process engineering. His experiences range from conducting Hazard and Operability (HAZOP), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Determination & Verification, Consequence Modelling and Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) studies. Mohammed has led and delivered several high-profile projects for Oil and Gas companies around the world such as Saudi Aramco QRA on several fields including Safaniya, Hasbah and Marjan, ZADCO Fire & Gas (F&G) detector layout verification, Kuwait Oil Company Reliability and Availability analysis of the F&G system and BG Group SIL Verification and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) on 300+ Safety Instrumented Functions (SIFs)) amongst others.
Martin Snow has expansive experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically in Control, Instrumentation and Functional Safety spanning over 35 years. He commenced his career as a Instrument Apprentice/Technician with Shell Oil and from there has worked for all the major controls companies acquiring and successfully delivering, on a global basis, large Instrumentation and DCS projects as well as the more specialised area of Integrated Control and Safety Systems in accordance with IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 including Functional Safety Services.
Gregory Hill graduated from Newcastle University with a 1st class honours master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. As a recent addition to our consulting team, Gregory brings with him previous experience in Process Engineering and Functional Safety within the oil and gas industry. Greg has experience in HAZOP participation and scribing where his capabilities are supported with a strong academic background in process engineering.
